If you are interested in becoming a volunteer advocate for a child we would like to hear from you.
  • Call or email us for more information
  • Print out the "Become An Advocate" downloadable PDF file
  • Attend an information session
Once you decide that volunteering for CASA of Monterey County is a good fit for you, the training process begins. It includes:
  1. An interview with our staff
  2. A completed written application
  3. A signed volunteer agreement
  4. Submission of the following documents:
    • An FBI/DOJ and Megan's Law background check
    • A DMV driving record printout
    • Three positive references
    • A statement of auto liability coverage
  5. Participation in our 30-hour comprehensive training program
